The easiest way to transfer your Android phonebook from one device to another, be it a smartphone, tablet or PC, is to sync it with gmail. In this way, all contacts are saved on the Internet and any changes applied to them are automatically synchronized on all devices.
The synchronization of contacts with Gmail should already be active by default on your smartphone. In any case, to check that everything is in order, open the menu of Settings of Android (theicona dell'ingranaggio on the home screen or in the drawer), select the item users and Account from the latter and presses on the wording Google.
In the screen that opens, select yours Gmail indirizzo and make sure that the Contacts is active. If not, set it to ON, moving it to the right, and wait a few seconds for the synchronization of the address book with Gmail to be completed.
Haven't associated a Google account with your smartphone yet? No problem, select the item Users and Accounts on the menu Settings of Android, presses the button Add account and start setting up a new account Googleby selecting the appropriate item from the screen you see.
Now, all you have to do is decide to create a new Google account, in case you don't have one, or log in with the one you already have. In this regard, I can recommend some guides I wrote on these topics, such as the one on how to create a Google account and the one on how to associate an Android phone with Google.
Once you've done this, the last step you need to take is to turn on Google account sync. Generally, as I have already told you, it is enabled by default, but you can follow the instructions I gave you at the beginning of this chapter to verify that it is active.

How to Transfer Phonebook Between Android
In case you want to transfer the address book to a new Android smartphone, you have two solutions that you can put into practice: use the Google account sync or transfer manually via file vCard. The latter is a text file that contains all the names, telephone numbers and addresses of the contacts in the address book and allows them to be imported to any device or operating system.
To synchronize with the Google account, I have already explained to you in detail how to do this in the previous chapter. So, you just have to check that the synchronization of contacts is enabled on the Google account and, subsequently, associate the same Gmail account on the new smartphone: you can find all the details in this guide.
If you want, instead, to carry out the transfer procedure manually, perhaps because another Google account is already associated with it, you can try exporting the address book to a file .VCF (vCard). In this case, open the app Contacts and presses the icon ⋮. In the pane that appears, select the items Import / Export> Export to archive.

At this point, you can recover the .VCF file by connecting the Android smartphone to the PC or by ejecting the SD card and inserting it into the new smartphone. Alternatively, you can use a file management app (like Google files) to reach the location of the file and transfer it to the new phone, as I indicated in this guide.
After you have placed the file .VCF on the new smartphone, you need to import it into the address book. To do this, start the app Contactspigia sull'icona ⋮ e seleciona le voci Import / Export> Import from archive. Choose the option Telephone (or the one related to external memory) and wait for the file to be displayed on the box below.
Well: we're almost there. All you have to do is select the file .VCF to start the process of importing the contacts, which will be automatically synchronized on the Google account, in case you have activated this feature.
