Show Hidden Files on Windows
You want to find out how to show hidden files and are you using a PC with Windows installed? Then follow the instructions on what to do that you find right below. In the following lines, in fact, you will find explained how to perform the operation in question on Windows 10 and 8 / 8.x and the older ones Windows 7, Vista e XP. I anticipate immediately that, contrary to what you might think, it is a rather simple operation to carry out, you have my word.
You have a PC with it installed Windows 10 and would you like to understand how to show hidden files? If so, open theFile Explorerby clicking on the icon gialla poster located at the bottom left of the taskbar, and select the tab View, Located at the top of the window that opens on the desktop.

However, I suggest you leave it active, as modifying protected system files could lead to serious Windows malfunctions!
Windows 8.x / 7 / Vista
If you have a computer with su installed Windows 8.x, Windows 7 o Windows Vista, in order to enable the display of hidden items on your computer you must proceed as follows. First, open any folder on your computer and, in the window that appears on the desktop, click on the button Organize which is located at the top left, then select the item Folder and search options give the menu to compare.

You still use the now very old Windows XP? In this case, to view hidden files you must open any folder on the PC and, in the window that appears on the desktop, select the item Folder options from the menu Means.

Keep in mind that even on Windows XP it is possible to activate the display of protected system files, by removing the check from the item Hide protected system files in the tab viewing. However, I advise you not to change this setting as, as already specified in the previous lines, changing Windows files can cause serious malfunctions of the OS.
Show Hidden Files on MacOS
Stai using a Poppy and then you would like to understand how to show hidden files on MacOS? No problem, I'll explain it to you right away. All you have to do is open the Finder (the smiling face icon in the Dock bar) and press the key combination cmd + shift +. (punto). If you have second thoughts, you can turn off the display of hidden files using the same combination.
As an alternative to the combination above, you can enable the viewing of hidden files on Mac by issuing special commands from terminal, the application present on Apple brand computers that allows you to interact with the system via a command line interface.

All you have to do is call the Terminal again, as seen together earlier, and type the command defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE followed by pressing the key Submit. Then proceed to restart the Finder, in order to make the changes immediately effective by issuing the command killall Finder always followed by pressing the key Submit on the keyboard.
Show Hidden Files on Ubuntu
Also on Ubuntu you can show hidden files. To do this, just start the File Manager distro (the drawer located in the left sidebar) and select the item Pref Renze annessa to the menu Modification located at the top.
In the window that opens, select the tab Dresses, check the box next to the wording Show hidden and backup files and it's done. From now on, all hidden and backup files will be visible on your computer. It was easy, wasn't it?

Show Hidden Files on Android
As I told you at the beginning of the guide, it is possible to enable the display of hidden files even on devices Android. To do this, just take advantage of one of the many file managers available on the square and activate the option in question from its settings.
Among the various apps used to manage files on Android, I suggest you rely on Google files, which is free, is distributed by Google (as can be understood from the name itself), very widespread and widely appreciated.
