If you want send large files via email I suggest you first contact Files2U, an excellent free online service that allows you to send a maximum number of 35 files for 3,3 GB in size to five different users.
It does not require registration to be used and also allows you to receive notifications via e-mail when the recipient receives and downloads the file we have sent. The only thing to take into account is that to be able to use it it is essential that the Java software is installed on the computer in use (if you remember correctly I explained how to do it in my guide on how to install Java).
To be able to send large files via email, all you have to do is connect to the Files2U website by clicking here and fill in the form that is proposed by typing your name in the field Your First Name e Your Last Name, your e-mail address in the field Your Email Address, the e-mail addresses of the people you intend to send the large file to in the field Email container (maximum 5 addresses separated by commas) and the message you want to associate with the attachment corresponding to the field Message.
Set then Yes o No in the drop-down menu Notify when download occurs? depending on whether you would like to receive e-mail notifications when recipients receive and download the file you sent them, choose the item Yes, I agree give menu to tendin Agree to the terms and conditions? to accept the conditions of use of the service and click on the button Upload Files to continue the procedure.

Then use the box located on the left side of the page to select the large file you want to send to your friends and use the drop-down menu at the top left to navigate through the folders on your computer and then click first on the blue arrow that goes to the right and then on the button Start Upload to start shipping.
Once upload is complete, the recipients of the file will receive an email with a link and a PIN. To download the large file you sent them, they will need to connect to the link and enter the PIN contained in the message to start downloading the file.
Keep in mind that the files uploaded to Files2U are kept for 48 hours on the site's servers, so the download must take place in a timely manner.
If you are looking for an alternative solution to the service that I have just proposed to you in order to send large files via email without wasting time, I highly recommend you try WeTransfer, which in its basic version allows you to upload up to 2 GB of data online for free and without registering. The only downside is that the generated links are only available for 7 days, after which they are deleted.
To send large files via email using WeTransfer, click here so that you can immediately connect to its home page and then click first on Take me to free and then Accept.
So press the button Add files and select the files to share; fill in the fields Email from a friend e Your email indicating your e-mail address and that of the recipients of the files and start uploading the data by clicking on the button Transfer.
If you see fit, you can also type a message in the appropriate text field and send it (together with the link to download the files) to the persons indicated in the field Email from a friend.
Once all these steps have been completed, leave the WeTransfer tab open and, at the end of the upload, the service will automatically send the download link to all recipients.
The friends you have sent the large files to via WeTransfer can then download the data simply by clicking on the button Download contained in the service email and select the option Download on the web page that opens. No registrations are required. Easier than that?
Another great online service that you can appeal to to send large files via email is Filemail. This is a very convenient free web service that allows you to easily share files up to 2 GB by sending the recipient of the files an e-mail message containing the link to download the data from its servers.
To be able to send large files via email using Filemail you must first connect to the Filemail website by clicking here and type both your email address in the field Yes (email), that the address of the person you want to send the large attachment to, in the field A (e-mail).
Once that's done, enter the subject of your message in the field Ref.: and type a message to accompany the data in the field Message.
Then proceed to upload the files to be sent as an attachment by clicking on the button first Add gile, so that you can select the file, and then click on Submit, to start the shipment. If necessary, you can also select an entire folder of files by clicking on the button Add folder.
The file upload procedure will then be started, after which a page will open with the confirmation of the shipment and a link, the one that will be automatically sent to your friend from Filemail and will allow them to easily download the file you shared by simply clicking on it.
Keep in mind that the file can be downloaded for a maximum of ten times and within three days after which it will be deleted from the service's servers.
Cloud Storage Services for Sending Large Files Via Email
dropbox is one of the most used cloud storage services in the world. Its main purpose is to store data on an online space and automatically synchronize them on all the user's devices, but it also includes a sharing function that allows you to exchange large files (or folders) with other people in an extremely simple way. .
In its basic plan it offers 2 GB of space but it is possible to increase the size of your "hard disk" online for free by inviting other users to subscribe to the service.
To be able to email large files using Dropbox, you must first download the service client to your computer. To do this, connect to the official Dropbox website by clicking here and then pressing the button Download located at the top right (if you remember I have described the procedure in detail in my tutorial on how to use Dropbox).
When the download is complete, start the software installation package (DropboxInstaller.exe) and click your Yes to download all the components necessary for its operation.
When done, click the button Subscribe and fill out the form that is proposed to you to create your free account on Dropbox.
At this point, you can finally share files online by copying them to the Dropbox folder (which is automatically created on your computer), right clicking on them and selecting Share Dropbox link give the menu check if you press.
The link to the selected file or folder will automatically be copied to your computer's clipboard and you can share it by pasting into an email. The link will not expire and, in order to use it, the recipient will not have to register with Dropbox. Convenient, isn't it?
The recipient of the email containing the link will be able to download the file that you have uploaded to your Dropbox account simply by pressing the link and then clicking on the button Download present at the top. Note that the recipient of the email does not need to be registered on Dropbox to do this.

To send large files via email via Google Drive, start the web browser you usually use to surf the net, connect to your Gmail mailbox and start composing a new message.
Then click on the logo of Google Drive which is located at the bottom right. In the box that appears, select the card Chargeclick on your button Select files from your computer, select the files to share and press the button Charge. Easier than that?
You don't have a Gmail email address, but you use the email service Outlook.com? No problem! In fact, even in this case you can count on a cloud storage service that allows you to share large files and folders online: Microsoft OneDrive. The latter is free with storage space equal to 5GB, expandable for a fee starting from € 2 / month. I told you about it in more detail in my guide.
To be able to send large files via email with Outlook.com via OneDrive, connected to your inbox via browser, start composing a new message by pressing the appropriate button (+) New message which is placed at the top and click on the button depicting a paper clip located at the bottom.
Click on the item now Look into this computer which is located in the menu displayed and choose the large file (larger than 33 MB) you wish to send via email, using the new window that is shown on the screen.
Now click on the entry Charge e share as a link to OneDrive, wait a few moments for the upload of the selected file to be started and completed, then send your e-mail message as you usually do. The recipient can download data from OneDrive freely, without having to register or authenticate in any way.
