So, if you have one of the operating systems mentioned above, there is no need to install any program: just double-click on the XPS file in your possession to open it in the viewer. If double-clicking doesn't work, do it click destroy on the file to open and select the XPS viewer from the menu Open with.

If, on the other hand, you are using a version of Windows 10 after 1803 or you perform a clean installation of the operating system, you may not have the software I told you about immediately available; To work around this, you can easily enable the optional Windows feature for the viewer in question.

You ask me how to do it? It's that simple. First, right click on the button Start of Windows 10 (the icon in the shape of pennant located in the lower left corner of the screen), select the item Settings from the menu that is proposed to you and reach the section Appby clicking on the relevant icon in the window that opens.

Now, click on the option App and features which resides in the left sidebar, then on the link Optional features which is located on the right side of the window (immediately under the heading App and features) and click on the button Add a feature, placed at the top of the screen that appears next.

The game is practically done: locate the voice XPS Viewer from the list of additional features available (if you don't find it, you can sort the list items by Name, using the top drop-down menu, or search for it directly, using the search bar located at the top), put the check mark in its correspondence and click on the button Install [1], located at the bottom.

If everything went smoothly, you should return to the Windows Optional Features screen, where the progress bar relating to the installation of the component you just selected will be displayed.
