You have a large amount of RAR file to extract and you don't want to waste time opening them one by one to copy the contents into various folders? Have you downloaded a multi-part RAR archive from the Internet and don't know how to extract it? You have come to the right place at the right time.
With today's guide, we'll see how to extract multiple RAR files in various situations. In this way, you can extract the files contained in the multi-volume archives or speed up your work for free by extrapolating data from multiple RARs at the same time. Let's get started right away!
If you want to know how to extract multiple RAR files composed of several parts, I recommend you to install 7-Zip. It is a totally free program that has little to envy to WinZip and WinRAR, it allows you to extract all the main compressed archive formats in an extremely easy and fast way. It supports multi-volume and password protected archives.
To download the program on your PC, connect to its website and click on the link Download placed next to the item 32-bit x86 (if you are using a 32-bit operating system) or next to the entry 64-bit x64 (if you are using a 64-bit operating system). When the download is complete, double click on it to open the file you just downloaded (eg. 7z920.exe) and, in the window that opens, first click on Yes and then install e Finish to complete the installation process of 7-Zip.
Now you have to group all the volumes of the archive to extract (file.part1.rar, file.part2.rar, etc.) in the same folder, right-click on the one with the lowest number (ex. file.part1.rar) and will select the voice 7-Zip> Extract files from the menu that appears. Then select the folder to extract the files by clicking on the button [...], and start the extraction procedure by clicking on OK.
If the archive also includes a volume that does not have numbers in its name (eg. archivio.rar), select that and not the files ending with 00 o 01. For more information, see my guide on how to extract RAR files in multiple parts where I have explained to you in detail how to extract files from archives composed of multiple volumes.
