RealPlayer is a historical name in the panorama of software for playing multimedia files. It was born in 1995 and since then it has been installed by millions of users all over the world, who have chosen it for playing files in MPEG-4 format, QuickTime videos and above all RM and RMVB files (which are in a RealTime proprietary format).
Over time, the software has lost part of its popularity - also because promotional content and additional tools that aren't always useful have begun to appear in its installation package - but there are still those who prefer it, and it is for them that I published today this tutorial on how to download RealPlayer for free.
