Have you retouched photos with Photoshop and just realized you saved them in PSD instead of JPEG? Don't worry, it's a situation that can be remedied quite easily.
PSD files are very useful, indeed essential for those who work in the field of graphics or photo editing as they contain all the information on the layers, the texts and the color points, but to enjoy the photos they are not the best: they are very heavy and not very compatible with software to view photos.
In light of this, let's ban the chatter and see immediately how to convert PSD to JPG in series (or even individually) in the simplest way possible. With and without Photoshop.
If you want convertire PSD to JPG in series and on your computer there is Photoshop installed, all you have to do is start it and recall the voice Script> Image Processor from the menu Fillet.

At this point, set a value between 7 e 10 in the field Quality (dropping below 7 is quite risky for the visual quality of the photos) and click on the button Run to start converting the selected photos.
If you only need to convert a single image, open it normally in Photoshop using the menu File> Open and save it as a JPG by calling up the voice Save with name from the menu Fillet and setting the option JPEG in the drop-down menu Save eat present in the window that opens.
If you don't have Photoshop installed on your PC, you can try transform PSD to JPG using IrfanView, a free image viewer equipped with features for batch photo conversion. Thanks to a plugin it is able to "digest" even PSD files but, I warn you, it gives some problems with images that have been exported from Photoshop without activating the option to increase their compatibility with third-party applications.
To download IrfanView on your PC, connect to the program's website and click on the item first Download located in the left sidebar, then on the item Fileforum – Download IrfanView and finally on the button Download now.
When the download is complete, open the software installation package (eg. iview438_setup.exe) and click on first Yes and then forward quattro come back consecutive and Done to complete the setup.
At this point you must also download the plugin that adds support for PSD files (and not only) in IrfanView. So connect to this page of the IrfanView website and click on the item irfanview_plugins_438_setup.exe. When the download is complete, start the plugin installation package and first click on Yes and then forward e OK to conclude the setup.
To start converting files in IrfanView, start the application and go to the menu File > Batch Conversion/Rename. Then put the check mark next to the item Batch Conversion, set the item JPG in the drop-down menu Output format and drag the PSD files to be transformed into JPG in the box located at the bottom right.
Finally, click on the button KATEGORIEN, select the folder to export the output images and press on Start Batch to start the conversion. If you want, you can also set the quality of the JPG files to be obtained by clicking on the button Options and using the adjustment bar available in the window that opens.
