NordVPN (Windows / MacOS / Linux)

Le VPN (acronym for Virtual Private Network) are among the best solutions to disguise the location from which you connect and thus access sites with regional restrictions. In fact, these are systems that connect the computer to a secure network located remotely, which becomes the intermediary between your device and the destination site.

One of the VPN services I highly recommend you try is NordVPN, which is characterized by ease of use, security (encrypts data making them invisible to malicious people, ISPs and the service managers themselves) but above all for the speed and the wide range of servers available, which are scattered all over the world and in some cases they are dedicated to some specific activities, such as streaming or exchanging files over networks P2P.

Proxy Site (Online)

The first of the useful resources to be able to surf with foreign IP to see the blocked sites abroad that I want to recommend is Site proxy. It is an online proxy service that works with any browser, any Internet connection and on all operating systems. Basically it is free (but also offers more performing paid solutions) and to be precise it allows you to change your current IP with a European or US one.

To use it, go to the home page of the service and select the server you want to use through the drop-down menu on the left. Then type the complete address of the site you want to access with another IP in the field Enter Url which is on the right then click on the button vai. Done!

If this may interest you, I also point out that in the home of the service there are special buttons to make the direct connection to some of the most used online services: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter etc. Press on it and you will find yourself connected to its website without having to type the address first.

By clicking on the item instead Settings mail is at the top of the Proxy Site main page, you can intervene on some advanced navigation settings: user agent, referrer and cookies. To confirm the changes made, click on the button Save.

ProxFree (online)

As an alternative to the above service you can appeal to ProxFree. This is another online tool belonging to the same category of Proxy Site and thanks to which it is therefore possible to surf the net with a foreign IP, so as to be able to see the sites blocked abroad. Note that it allows you to select the server between different European and US locations as well as the exact location of the IP. Let's see in more detail how to use it.

To begin with, connected to the main page of the service and select the server you want to use as well as the exact location of the IP through the appropriate drop-down menus that are in the photo page, respectively Server location e IP Address Location.

Then type the URL of the website you want to access in the empty field in the center of the screen and then adjust, if you want, the navigation settings at the bottom (you can choose whether or not to accept cookies, disable scripts, etc. ) by affixing or removing the tick from the relevant boxes. Then click on the button Proxfree to the right. You will then find yourself in front of the Internet site to which you could not access.

Whoer.net (Online)

Did the above solutions not particularly convince you and are you looking for some other web service that allows you to browse with a foreign IP so that you can see blocked sites abroad? Then I really think you need to test Whoer.net. It is indeed another online tool belonging to the Web proxy class through which you can connect to any Internet site pretending to be from a location other than your own, choosing from France, Holland, Russia, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States . It's free (but possibly available in a paid variant with more options) and has a pretty nice interface.

To use it, just connect the Whoer.net main page and fill in the field on the left with the address of the Internet site you want to access. Then use the drop-down menu on the right to select the reference server or leave the option selected Random server so that it is selected randomly.

To conclude, click on your button Go!. In a few moments you will then be able to view the website you previously did not rewrite to access. Et voila!

anonymoX (Chrome / Firefox)

The idea of using one of the services that I pointed out in the previous lines does not excite you very much and would you therefore like to know if I can recommend some other useful tool for this purpose? Obvious that! If you usually surf the net using the Chrome or Firefox web browser, the suggestion I would like to give you is to resort to the use of anonymoX, an extension thanks to which you can surf the net with a Dutch, British or US IP, without having to make complex configurations and registrations and without having to install special programs on your PC. Ah, I almost forget… it's all free.

To use it, first install the extension. If what you are using is the Chrome browser, connect to the dedicated section of the Chrome Web Store and click the button first Add e poi quello Add extension on the page that appears. If you are using Firefox, visit the specific page of the site Firefox Add-ons and then click on the buttons + Aggiungi to Firefox Install.

Now, regardless of the browser used, once the installation procedure is completed, you will see the button with the extension icon (the one with the "x") appear in the upper right part of the browser toolbar. By clicking on it you can enable proxy browsing. However, make sure that the switch on the left in the menu that opened has been moved to active (and if not, you can do it yourself).

Once in action, the extension will automatically select the country from which to acquire the IP address and you can immediately start using it by surfing the net as you usually do and overcoming any limitations to which you were previously subjected. If this interests you, you can find out the country whose IP you have purchased from the extension menu, corresponding to the symbol of pennant (which is that of the country of reference).

If you prefer, you can also manually select the country by clicking on arrow downward, always present in correspondence with the aforementioned pennant, in the visible menu after pressing the extension icon. By clicking on the button with the double arrow you can go directly to the next server.

To view the acquired IP address, click on the button with the magnifying glass present in correspondence with the writing Connection overview, on the right in the box accessible after clicking on the extension icon. If you then deem it appropriate, you can save the settings used for the website you are visiting so that you can use them on the fly in the future. To do this, just click on the writing Save settings for this site.

When you no longer need it, you can disable the extension's operation by first pressing the relative button in the toolbar in the browser window and then on the switch on the left, so as to bring it to Inactive.

UltraSurf (Windows)

As I told you at the beginning, there are also some real software thanks to which it is possible to surf the Internet using a foreign IP. If this interests you and if what you are using is a Windows PC, you can appeal to UltraSurf. It is a free program that, without requiring installations, manages to fulfill the purpose in question by bypassing any restrictions and / or censorship on the net. It has no traffic limits and the browsing speed is more than acceptable.

To use it, first connect to the relevant download page and press the button FREE DOWNLOAD at the top right. When the download is complete, extract the ZIP archive obtained in any location on your computer and then start the .exe file that was contained within it.

Once the program window appears on the desktop, the connection to the UltraSurf servers will be established. The traffic lights visible on the screen from red will therefore become green and a special Chrome session will be launched through which you can browse your favorite Internet sites using, in fact, the service servers.

If you want to use Internet Explorer instead of browsing with Chrome, just click on the relative icon in the upper right part of the program window.

Finally, if you need it, I would like to point out that you can also intervene on the options for using the software, adjusting its operation as you think is more congenial to your needs. To do this, click on the button Option that you always find in the upper part of the program window.

App to Surf with Foreign IP to See the Sites Blocked Abroad

As anticipated at the beginning, to conclude on a high note, as they say, I would like to show you how to do it to be able to browse with a foreign IP to see the sites blocked abroad from mobile. To do this, you just need to use some special applications that can act as a VPN.

You ask me what these apps are? Well, find the ones that in my opinion represent the best in the category listed right below. So take a look at the following list and download what you think can do the most for you.

  • Aloha Browser (Android / iOS) - As the name implies, it is a browser for mobile devices which, however, also integrates the VPN, unlimited and free, among its functions, and therefore is useful for the purpose in question.
  • ExpressVPN (Android / iOS) - Excellent VPN service for mobile devices, especially for what concerns encryption and data download. It allows you to surf the net using the IP of over 90 different countries. You can download and try it for free for 7 days, after which you need to subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the service.
  • Turbo VPN (Android / iOS) - It is probably the most used and appreciated VPN service in the world on mobile devices. It allows you to surf the net by disguising your IP for free and without applying restrictions. It promises a fast connection and works extremely simply. Advertising a little invasive is its Achilles heel but considering what is offered it certainly represents a good compromise.
  • PureVPN (Android / iOS) - Another application thanks to which it is possible to surf with a foreign IP to see the websites that are blocked abroad.
